Browsing sutrartha.com collects nothing that identifies you. The site sets no cookies of its own. We measure page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate without cookies or personal identifiers.
If you use the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, the service you are interested in, and your message. The form is delivered to our mailbox by FormSubmit, a form-delivery service, and we use it only to reply to you. It is not added to any list. If you message us on WhatsApp, that chat is carried by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.
insights.sutrartha.com is for clients of the practice. Signing in needs a login ID, a password you choose, and a one-time code sent to your email address. To reset a forgotten password, we check your date of birth against our records. If you ask the portal to remember a browser, it keeps a cookie on that browser for seven days so you are not asked for a code again there. A sign-in lasts twenty minutes without activity.
The portal holds the information you share with us to plan your finances: your household details, income, assets, liabilities, insurance, goals, the mutual fund statements you give us, and the reports we prepare for you. It is held so that we can plan with you, and for as long as we work with you and the law requires records to be kept.
Your information is stored in India, in Mumbai, with a regulated cloud database provider, encrypted in transit and at rest. Only the consultant or consultants working with you, and the practice's owner, can open your record. Your password is never stored, only a one-way hash of it.
We do not sell or trade your information. A small number of service providers process it on our behalf, each for one purpose: Vercel hosts the website and the portal; Supabase holds the portal's database in its Mumbai region; Resend delivers our emails, including sign-in codes; FormSubmit delivers contact-form messages; WhatsApp carries chats you start with us. Where you ask us to obtain a mutual fund statement, the registrar (CAMS or KFintech) sends it to the email address you nominate.
You may ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to erase it once we are no longer required to keep it. You may withdraw consent for the portal by asking us to close your login. The same address is our grievance contact.
If we ever discover that your personal information has been exposed, we will tell you, and the Data Protection Board of India, in the way and within the time the law requires.
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how we handle your information will be told to clients directly.
